I made my first YA acquisition—#Prettyboy Must Die by Kimberly Reid—in early 2016. It’s a smart, funny thriller with a high concept hook and epic bromance. I’m actively building my list, and am on the lookout for contemporaries in that vein: commercial, hilarious, with heartwarming friendship or romance. I’d also love to find rich, immersive historical fiction, and have a particular love for American history, ancient philosophy, and fairy-tale origin stories.
